Challenging terrains require reliable waterproof, windproof and abrasion-resistant shoes. SALEWA® developed its proprietary, highly robust Powertex CORDURA® fabric specifically for this purpose. Its 3-layer laminate construction guarantees to keep the weather out, while the ultra-thin polyurethane (PU) membrane ensures that moisture vapour from sweat can escape to the outside. The outer layer is made of 94% highly abrasion-resistant CORDURA® nylon (polyamide) with 6% elastane content for greater stretch freedom of movement.
